Your gift will benefit Center City District's greening efforts and landscaping program in downtown Philadelphia.
Every March, beautiful and colorful blooms fill Center City District parks signaling the beginning of spring. Honor someone special this Valentine's Day with bulbs in one of Center City District's parks: Dilworth Park, Sister Cities Park, or Cret Park. These lush, cheerful flowers will blossom in about six weeks' time and contribute to the beautification of downtown Philadelphia at a time when outdoor public spaces are more important than ever for our mental any physical well-being.
A tax-deductible donation starting at $25 ($1 per bulb) will benefit the Center City District’s landscape program—planting trees, installing planters, and keeping our parks colorful and vibrant. Recipients will receive a personalized e-card to notify them of this gift. Please allow up to 24 hours for the creation of your e-card.
By adopting bulbs this Valentine’s Day, you will be contributing to beautifying Center City while giving a gift that you can visit over and over this spring.
You may choose the park you where you would like to adopt flowers. Six different varieties of tulips will blossom in Dilworth Park. Sister Cities Park will feature a sea of Red Impression tulips. Cret Park will display tulips, allium, and crocus flowers.
If you choose to honor someone with this unique gift, please know that recipients will be notified through email only. Although the form will ask you for a recipient address, physical cards will not be mailed. Whatever text you write in the "note to recipient" text box will be included on the ecard, so be sure the text is exactly how you want it. Locations for plantings cannot be specified. Wherever you see blooms in Dilworth Park, you will know that yours are among them.
