Help us create a transformational new green space
The Center City District completed Phase 1 of the Rail Park in 2018. Phase 2 expands that park south to Vine Street, and north to Fairmount Avenue, creating a new 6.8-acre green space with walking and bike trails, park amenities and play areas. It connects neighborhoods to each other and to downtown, removes blight and encourages community development.
Community engagement, environmental and structural analysis as well as schematic design are all complete. As we are applying for state and federal support, we welcome your support to complete construction documents by spring 2025 and to support the acquisition process.
