Since 2012, when the Center City District transformed an underused plaza into a richly planted, family-friendly park, this 1.3-acre oasis has welcomed thousands of children to its wading pond and Children's Discovery Garden, sustained a 6,000-square-foot pollinator garden alive with native birds, bees, and butterflies, and offered a peaceful respite for neighbors, workers, and visitors.

None of this happens by accident. The planting, programming and maintenance of this gem of a park depends on the ongoing support of people who believe, as we do, that a great city deserves great public spaces. That is why we are inviting you to make a gift to the Center City District Foundation to become a Friend of Sister Cities Park.
